Applications for the Essex SL1218R Orbital Floor Polisher include screening floors after sanding, screening and re-coating polyurethane floors, waxed floors scrubbing and polishing, wood deck sanding and refinishing, parquet floor sanding and refinishing, new and pre-finished floor sanding and refinishing, tile maintenance, and more. Weight is built into the chassis for a low center of gravity. Sealed Baldor motor protected from dust. Fan-cooled and thermal overload on the motor. Heavy-duty rubber towers in four corners support the base & plate protecting the motor shaft and allowing for easier operation.
